Unknown Circumstances Fire Erupts in Niva Car, Driver Sustains Burns

At approximately 15:30, the emergency response center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call informing that a vehicle was on fire on the Church Street in Ararat village.

The fire department of the Ararat regional rescue service arrived at the scene with one firefighting unit. It was found that a fire had broken out in a VAZ 21214 car, license plate 77 CG 577, driven by 51-year-old Sasun Hakobyan, a resident of the Republic of Artsakh, under still unknown circumstances on the 48th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway while the car was in motion.
