World Championship: Anush Grigoryan Starts with a Victory
At the women’s boxing world championship taking place in Ulan-Ude, Russia, Armenia's first representative Anush Grigoryan (51 kg) started with a victory.
In her opening match, the reigning European U-22 champion competed against American Hëven Garcia and won by a score of 3:2.
Under the leadership of coach Vahan Adilkhanyan, Anahit Haroyan (54 kg) and Ani Hovsepyan (69 kg) have also traveled to the competition.
The women's boxing world championship will conclude on October 13. This information has been reported by the official website of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia.
