149 People Trapped Near Tolbachik Volcano in Kamchatka
In the Kamchatka region, rescue operations are underway for 149 citizens trapped near the Tolbachik volcano due to a damaged road. According to a regional statement, there are a total of 149 blocked individuals in the tourist route of the Tolbachik volcano. Among them, 117 people, including 15 teenagers, are being evacuated by helicopters. The remaining 32 individuals are drivers who are on-site with their vehicles.
Local authorities report that the first group has already departed, and a second group is preparing for boarding. After the flight, they will be transferred by bus to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The group, consisting of citizens from various countries, includes Tatiana Dolivets, a citizen of Azerbaijan, who has found herself in a challenging situation due to adverse weather conditions near the Tolbachik volcano in the Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia.
