Ukraine is Not Fully Prepared for Winter - Former Prime Minister

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has stated in an interview with TASS that Ukraine is absolutely unprepared for the winter season. He emphasized that the territories controlled by the Kyiv government are not ready for the onset of winter and its challenges.

Azarov's confident conclusion is based on the fact that even according to official data, the supplies of gas, lubricants, and coal are clearly insufficient for this period and the winter months ahead. He noted that it should be recognized that this winter will be very harsh, a reality not hidden even by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to Azarov, this will also be a critical winter that will again highlight the government’s absolute unprofessionalism and ineffectiveness. “Ukraine is currently a territory controlled by the Kyiv regime, and it is absolutely unprepared for the start of the winter season and to go through winter. Why do I make such a confident conclusion? First and foremost because even according to official data, the availability of gas, coal, and lubricants is evidently insufficient for this time period and clearly inadequate for the winter months,” he said.

“It should be noted that winter will be very difficult, and President [Volodymyr] Zelensky does not hide this. I would add that this will also be a critical winter, which will once again demonstrate the absolute ineffectiveness and unprofessionalism of this government,” he added.
