Medvedev States That Ukraine Has Lost Half of Its Population

The leader of the "United Russia" party, Dmitry Medvedev, announced that Ukraine has lost half of its population and 20% of its territories. The second phase of the XXIII congress of the "United Russia" party is taking place in Moscow.

"In that same country (Ukraine - ed.), which is now commonly referred to as 'country 404', half of the population has already disappeared, along with 20% of the territories that accidentally found themselves with them," Medvedev stated.

It is worth recalling that on the early morning of February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to launch a military special operation against Ukraine, as the LPR and DPR had requested assistance.

The military actions continue to this day. The Ukrainian forces periodically shell and attack the border regions of Russia using various methods, including drones, specifically targeting the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh.
