Debris from Drone Falls in Ozon Warehouse Area: Over 300 Employees Evacuated
Debris from a drone has fallen in the logistics complex of Ozon in Orenburg, causing a fire. According to Mayor Albert Yumadilov, the city was subjected to a drone attack, and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations quickly extinguished the resulting fire. He added that there are no casualties, and several drones were destroyed by air defense systems over a special economic zone that includes industrial enterprises.
According to the company’s press service, more than 300 employees have been evacuated from the warehouse area, and all systems operated as scheduled. During the night, approximately 30 drones were destroyed by air defense measures in the Rostov region. Emergency services continue to work at the scene.
Ozon reported that the products in the affected warehouse have been removed from the online platform’s display and are no longer available for order. Customer orders will either be canceled with a refund or delivered from other terminals. The acceptance of products from sellers has been temporarily suspended, operations at the facility have been halted, and planned logistics routes to and from the damaged complex have been canceled and will be redistributed among other centers.
