There is No Forgiveness for Such Scoundrels: Medvedev on Those Who Left Russia
Dmitry Medvedev, the president of the "United Russia" party, has stated that citizens who left Russia and wish for the country's defeat in the war are not deserving of forgiveness. He made this declaration during a speech at a party congress, according to TASS.
“Speaking about traitors and national betrayers, who, like locusts, have scattered to peaceful corners and are surviving in exile, condemned to sadness and, in many cases, the loss of a prosperous life, they pitifully bark at our country wishing for its defeat in the war. Just think about it: their country is at war, soldiers and civilians are dying, yet they wish death upon their own nation. There is no forgiveness for such scoundrels and there never will be,” Medvedev declared.
