Trump Jokes About Press Secretary Prioritizing Her Children Over Him
U.S. President Donald Trump jokingly expressed his frustration that his press secretary, Caroline Levitt, gives more priority to her children than to him. “She just had a baby, and I just learned that she loves this baby more than Donald Trump, and I’m very angry at her,” he quipped at a rally in South Carolina.
Trump had previously announced that Levitt would leave her position at the end of August to spend more time with her family. On May 7, the press secretary announced the birth of her second child, a daughter named Viviana.
The 28-year-old Levitt is married to businessman Nicholas Ricchio, who is 32 years her senior. The couple got engaged in 2023, and Levitt is expected to welcome her son in July 2024.
