Upcoming elections will confirm Russia's resilience and its ability to withstand any external threats, stated Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Even in the most difficult circumstances, Russia will not deviate from the principles of popular sovereignty and will hold elections across the country. The upcoming elections will affirm Russia's resilience and its capability to confront any external threats,” he noted.

Speaking about the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, Putin pointed out that the more complicated the situation on the frontline becomes for the adversary, the more brutal and barbaric attacks the Kyiv government carries out.
