Another Plot of Land Returned to the Community from Sisian Park, 13 More Under Review
According to an investigation by the Syunik Regional Prosecutor's Office, it has been determined that a 0.045-hectare plot within the Sisian "May 28" park was illegally granted to a private individual for development rights.
Following the prosecutor's intervention, the development rights granted for the plot in 2007 have been revoked, and the area has been returned to the control of the Sisian community. The cadastral value of the land is approximately 845,000 drams, based on market estimates.
The Prosecutor's Office reports that the plots within the "May 28" park were granted development rights to a total of 17 individuals. As a result of the prosecutor's efforts, 7 plots totaling 4,103.68 square meters have already been returned to the community from 5 individuals.
It is important to note that the Sisian community's "May 28" park occupies an area of 9,595.68 square meters, where the plots have been allocated to 17 individuals through development rights contracts. So far, 7 plots of land totaling 4,103.68 square meters have been returned to the Sisian community due to the prosecutor's intervention. The returned plots include: a 0.0450-hectare plot, a 0.05-hectare plot, a 0.0451-hectare plot, a 0.08-hectare plot, a 0.02-hectare plot, a 0.0402-hectare plot, and a 0.13-hectare plot.
Work is currently underway to return 13 plots granted to 12 individuals to the community.
