Ukrainian Drones Attack Perm: Reports of Fire at Oil Refinery

On the morning of August 21, an attack was carried out towards the Russian city of Perm using unmanned aerial vehicles. Local media have released videos indicating that air raid sirens were sounded in the city.

The Ministry of Territorial Security of the Perm region has reported that a response is underway regarding the drone attacks. Several Telegram channels, citing eyewitnesses, have reported hearing multiple explosions in the city's sky. Preliminary information suggests that the target of the attack may have been the Perm oil refinery.

Reports of a fire breaking out at the facility have also surfaced; however, this information has not yet been officially confirmed. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night of August 21, air defense systems within Russia intercepted and destroyed a total of 325 Ukrainian drones, with some of them being eliminated in the territory of the Perm region.
