Operations at Several Airports in Russia Restricted
Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the acceptance and departure of aircraft at several airports in Russian cities during the night and morning of August 21. This information was reported by Rosaviatsiya.
Specifically, flight operations have been suspended at Moscow's Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports as well as those in Makhachkala, Perm, Grozny, Kirov, and Ufa.
Earlier, restrictions were also imposed at the airports of Vladikavkaz, Kazan, Samara, and Cheboksary. Moscow's Vnukovo Airport continues to operate under restrictions, with flights carried out in coordination with relevant authorities, and schedule changes may also occur.
At the same time, restrictions have been lifted at the airports of Volgograd, Krasnodar, and Saratov. Reports from Rosaviatsiya indicate that the status of Vladikavkaz and Grozny airports has changed during the night and morning, with restrictions imposed or lifted at different times.
Rosaviatsiya has stated that these measures are being implemented to ensure flight safety.
