Russian Drones Strike Ukraine-Moldova Border Checkpoint, Traffic Halted
Russian drones struck the "Tabaki" international checkpoint located in the Odesa region of Ukraine near the Moldova border on the night of August 21. This was reported by the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service.
The attack caused damage to the buildings and infrastructure of the checkpoint, and the resulting fires were extinguished by rescuers. Currently, the movement of people and vehicles through the checkpoint has been suspended, and traffic is being redirected to other checkpoints.
The Ukrainian side has also informed Moldova about the situation.
