The U.S. Will Launch 1,000 Rockets into Space Annually
Trump has signed a memorandum aiming to increase the number of annual space launches to 1,000 by the year 2030. The corresponding document was published by the White House. Currently, the U.S. conducts around 200 space launches per year.
The U.S. President has also tasked NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman with exploring commercial uses of robots for landing on the surface of Mars, assessing the possibilities for sending humans to Mars and bringing them back to Earth, and supporting the development of commercial transportation to the Moon and its satellites.
Furthermore, Trump has directed American governmental structures to "promote joint development of space transportation infrastructure with private sector partners, and expedite the processes for granting relevant permits."
