Attempt to Sell 5 kg of Marijuana via Telegram: Investigative Proceedings Completed for Two Individuals

The Investigative Committee has completed the preliminary investigation into the illegal trafficking of narcotics via Telegram. According to the committee’s report, it has been established that H.M. and A.K., managing a Telegram account in pre-agreement, took 5 kg of marijuana from a location indicated by another user, only to be arrested immediately afterward. According to the investigation, the alleged crime was not concluded due to this intervention.

The investigation also confirmed that months earlier, A.K. illegally acquired methamphetamine through Telegram and, along with another member of the group, sold it to individuals seeking narcotics. Public criminal proceedings have been initiated against A.K. and H.M. One of them has been detained, while the other has been placed under house arrest.

The criminal case has been sent to the supervising prosecutor with a conclusive indictment. The accused individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a legally binding court judgment.
