The President of the Mother Armenia party, Andranik Tevanyan, and party board member Aregnaz Manukyan have been transferred from the Investigative Department to a correctional facility. This information was shared via the official Facebook page of the Mother Armenia party.

MP Gegham Manukyan published a photo stating, 'Freedom to Aregnaz Manukyan and all political prisoners...'

Earlier, the leader of the Mother Armenia faction, Manuk Sukiasyan, reported that Aregnaz Manukyan had been taken into custody, with indications that she was likely being prepared for arrest. On the same day, law enforcement began a search of Manukyan's apartment early in the morning.

It is noteworthy that a search was conducted in Manukyan's residence by the Investigative Committee on June 12, after which she was summoned to the National Security Service without any charges at that time. Later, it was made known that the investigative actions were conducted within the framework of a criminal case initiated on charges of state treason and espionage.

The proceedings also involve Andranik Tevanyan, who is second on the proportional list of the Prosperous Armenia party. Tevanyan sent a message from the Yerevan-Center penitentiary, classifying the criminal prosecution against him as political and asserting that the case was initiated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's 'illegal orders.'

'Nikol Pashinyan accuses me of state treason. Essentially, the traitor shouts the loudest: 'Catch the traitor!',' stated Tevanyan in his message. He insisted that the government considers its political opponents as 'state traitors' and called on opposition forces to unite around the issue of regime change.

'Citizens of the Republic of Armenia must actively participate in elections to collectively expel Nikol Pashinyan. I call on the collective opposition to stand united in the chief matter of regime change and the formation of Armenian governance. Unite to change,' the letter from Tevanyan stated.

The Mother Armenia party also announced that, according to the law, Tevanyan has the right to communicate with the public through authorized persons, and until the end of the election campaign, his messages will be published on the party's Facebook page.
