Azerbaijan's Information Space Constantly Contains Unfriendly Narratives Against Russia: Zakharova
Maria Zakharova, the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in response to Baku's announcement of an international search for three Russian journalists, stated that Azerbaijan's information space is constantly filled with unfriendly narratives towards Russia.
She also emphasized that if necessary, Russia will ensure the protection of its journalists' legal rights in the context of their announcement of international searches by the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office.
According to Zakharova, the statements made by the three Russian journalists announced as wanted by Azerbaijan do not reflect Moscow's positions on its relations with Baku. She added that calls for the violent overthrow of Azerbaijan's constitutional order also do not reflect Moscow's stance on issues regarding relations with Baku and Azerbaijan.
Zakharova highlighted that Russia hopes to improve the information environment through dialogue with Azerbaijan.
