Azerbaijan's Wanted Chadayev Resigns
Alexei Chadayev, an advisor to the Russian Minister of Transport, has decided to resign from his position after Azerbaijan's law enforcement announced a wanted notice against him. Chadayev made the announcement on his Telegram channel.
"I do not consider it right when someone's personal expert opinions or public statements impact inter-state relations and create obstacles to the joint work of states," Chadayev noted.
The former advisor emphasized that he has merely expressed a personal expert opinion. He stated that he is deeply involved in topics related to drones, technological sovereignty, and associated political processes.
Chadayev also pointed out that the Russian Ministry of Transport is currently developing the "North-South" international transport corridor, the program of which is being implemented in Azerbaijan as well. He mentioned that after resigning from his post, he will continue to work in the same direction.
It is worth noting that on August 17, the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office announced that a wanted notice had been issued for Russian Minister of Transport advisor Alexei Chadayev, political consultant Semen Uralov, and former host of Moscow 24 TV Ivan Knyazev. The Azerbaijani side accuses them of inciting terrorism, violating the territorial integrity of the country, and inciting national hatred.
