Pashinyan to Set Specific Tasks and Assignments for Alen Simonyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has introduced the newly appointed Secretary of the Security Council, Alen Simonyan, to the staff of the Security Council.

Pashinyan expressed gratitude to former Secretary Armen Grigoryan for his work, emphasizing his involvement in the security agenda and the peace establishment process. “Mr. Grigoryan has made a significant contribution to our achievements in that area, and that is highly commendable,” said the Prime Minister.

Referring to Alen Simonyan, Pashinyan noted that he has also been involved in the decision-making process for important and strategic issues. “I believe that, also being the Chairman of the National Assembly, he has no lack of working information and can immediately proceed to the effective functioning of the Security Council Secretary,” the Prime Minister stated.

Armen Grigoryan thanked the team of the Security Council office for their teamwork, congratulated Alen Simonyan, and wished him success.

In turn, Alen Simonyan thanked the Prime Minister for his trust and Armen Grigoryan for his work. “I think we can work together, regardless of the fact that, as the Prime Minister said, I am aware of and have participated in the processes. I believe you should help me delve deeper into the work process, and I hope we can work together,” Simonyan told the staff.

Pashinyan also announced that there will be an analysis of the work of the previous period and the priorities that the Secretary of the Security Council and the office should focus on will be determined. “I have specific ideas regarding this. I have specific tasks to set for the Secretary of the Security Council and the office. We will have discussions on this topic soon, and I will give the necessary assignments,” said the Prime Minister.
