Yerevan Mayor Has a New Spokesperson

Dear friends, colleagues, and esteemed representatives of the media, as of today, I am taking on the position of spokesperson for the Yerevan Mayor's Office. This was announced on Facebook by former My Step Alliance MP Julietta Azaryan.

"For me, this is primarily a great responsibility to represent the work of the Yerevan Mayor's Office, the activities of the mayor and the mayor's team, as well as to ensure open, prompt, and effective communication with the public and the media. I realize that the job of a spokesperson is not just about conveying information. It is also a responsibility to be accessible, accurate, and consistent, to listen to questions, provide appropriate communication, and present the public with important processes related to the life of Yerevan and urban governance.

Especially, I want to emphasize my willingness to build close and collaborative working relationships with all media outlets and journalists. I express my special gratitude to Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan for the high trust shown and for entrusting me with this responsible position," she wrote.
