Discussion of Russia's Involvement in the Construction of the 'Ajapnyak' Metro Station, Says Pashinyan
During a press briefing, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that discussions are underway with Russia regarding their involvement in the construction process of the 'Ajapnyak' metro station, as the Russian side has significant experience in this area and would be glad to provide support.
He emphasized that the issue is not limited to just the 'Ajapnyak' station, as it essentially marks the beginning of a new phase in the expansion of Yerevan's metro system, and the project will not conclude with one station. Upon successfully completing the construction of this first station, plans will move forward to the second and third stations.
According to the Prime Minister, there is currently a concept being considered for having four new stations, which would extend the metro line from 'Ajapnyak' and Academic Town up to 'Charbakh,' enabling a circular traffic flow in the metro system.
