Layoffs in Companies Transferred to the State by Tsarukyan: Tonoyan
During a conversation with reporters in the yard of the First Instance General Jurisdiction Court of Yerevan, the spokesperson for the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Iveta Tonoyan, stated that none of the companies owned by Gagik Tsarukyan have resumed operations, except for 'Ararat Cement', which was transferred to state management, the Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory in Yerevan, and 'Multi Wellness' which was handed over to the Yerevan City Hall.
According to Tonoyan, they are receiving several alerts regarding layoffs occurring in the companies that have transitioned to state management. 'We are receiving alerts that particularly layoffs are taking place at the Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory in Yerevan, with the reasoning being based on the reduction of positions. This concerns several dozen security staff, and there are also employees from other departments,' Tonoyan noted, referring to reports that those employees who supported Gagik Tsarukyan are being laid off.
