Criminal Proceedings Initiated Against '88' Supermarket Chain
A criminal proceeding has been initiated regarding the operations of the '88' supermarket chain owned by businessman Narek Nalbandyan. This was announced to Auroranews by the Prosecutor General's Office.
They did not provide information on which article the criminal proceeding has been initiated under and which institution is currently investigating it.
Recall that during a press conference, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that if Narek Nalbandyan tries to create the impression that he has connections with our family, he will face a harsher fate than other oligarchs.
“I have told law enforcement that if there is even a small justification that Narek Nalbandyan is attempting to suggest he has ties with our family, I assure you he will meet with a harsher fate than those other oligarchs have encountered. Conversely, I am surprised why he does not refute such claims every time they arise. This is incredibly annoying for us. My family is not involved in any business, and I warn all businessmen: whoever attempts to create such an impression will face disproportionate consequences from us,” Pashinyan noted.
