Video: Visa Regime for Russian Citizens Not Discussed, Says Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has responded to the statement made by Maria Zakharova, a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, regarding the potential introduction of a visa regime for Russian citizens by Armenia.
Pashinyan emphasized that this topic has never been discussed in Armenia. “Who has talked about such a thing? We have no intention of doing this, nor have we ever had such intentions. On the contrary, we gladly welcome tourists coming from Russia; we see that they have now become an active participant in promoting Armenia's tourism advantages,” the Prime Minister stated.
According to the head of the government, Armenian society warmly welcomes these citizens, who seem to feel quite comfortable in Armenia. “We have no reason to do this,” the Prime Minister added.
