Trump Announces Restoration of Oil Transit Through Hormuz
US President Donald Trump has announced the restoration of oil transit through the Strait of Hormuz, reaching as much as 18 million barrels per day. The American leader published an infographic depicting the situation on his page on the Truth Social network.
The caption of the image presented by the political figure reads: “Oil volumes in the Strait of Hormuz have returned.” According to the published data, the current oil transit through the strait amounts to around 18 million barrels per day.
It should be noted that US President Donald Trump announced yesterday the 'Operation Freedom' to rescue ships trapped in the Strait of Hormuz. The head of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Ibrahim Azizi, has stated that Iran will consider any US interference in the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz as a violation of the ceasefire.
