Crosses Stolen from Churches, Ministry of Internal Affairs Reports
Crosses have been stolen from the Hovhannisavank Church located in Ohannavan village of Aragatsotn Province and from the St. John Church in Artashat city of Ararat Province. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The MIA has informed that reports of the thefts were received from both churches yesterday.
“According to preliminary information, each church has suffered damages amounting to about 100,000 drams. The report has been processed accordingly, and operational work is currently underway,” the MIA stated.
