800 Billion Rubles at Stake: Huge Losses of Wildberries Calculated
The total losses incurred by Wildberries and its sellers due to attacks from Ukrainian drones have been estimated at 600–800 billion rubles.
According to calculations by Meduza, Wildberries and its sellers have collectively suffered losses ranging from 600 to 800 billion rubles as a result of the Ukrainian UAV attacks. Following the assaults, Wildberries will have to spend 147-223 billion rubles for the recovery of infrastructure and warehouses.
The lead analyst at Data Insight research agency, Sergey Semko, noted in a conversation with Forbes that if full dismantling, removal of construction and other debris, as well as land reclamation are required, costs could reach 169–278.9 billion rubles.
At the same time, the analyst estimated the potential losses for Wildberries sellers to be in the range of 445-507.8 billion rubles. Currently, the possible total losses for the company and sellers are estimated at around 600–800 billion rubles.
