5,5 Thousand Cubic Meters of Mineral Material and Loaded Trucks: Illegal Extraction Case Discovered in Meghri
The community police officers of the Meghri division received operational information that illegal extraction was taking place in the administrative area of the Shvanidzor village.
During the inspection on August 10, an excavator belonging to a limited liability company and three loaded trucks from another company with aggregate mineral material were found at the illegal extraction site.
At the time of the inspection, around 5,500 cubic meters of mineral material was present at the location, which was to be transported to a processing plant owned by a third company located in Vardanidzor.
The trucks have been moved to a secure designated area, the excavator has been placed under surveillance, and the documents compiled have been submitted to the Syunik Regional Investigative Department. The circumstances are being clarified.
