Armenia Aims to Boost Agricultural Productivity: Papoyan at EAEU Meeting
The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, has informed about his participation in the seventh meeting of the EAEU Council on Agro-Industrial Policy taking place in Almaty.
During the meeting, Papoyan presented the state of Armenia's agro-industrial complex and its development priorities, emphasizing the intensification of agriculture, increasing productivity, the implementation of modern technologies, and the development of digital agriculture. He also addressed the expansion of processing capacities, the development of 'smart' farms, drip irrigation systems, and satellite monitoring systems for land.
Various other sector-related issues were also discussed.
