Tehran Bombards US Military Base in Bahrain
In response to the strikes against the Islamic Republic's territory by the United States, Iranian armed forces have launched attacks on the US military base "Sheikh Isa" located in Bahrain. This has been stated in a statement released by the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to Iranian state TV.
According to the IRGC's statement, Iranian army drones targeted the electric generators, navigation systems, as well as administrative and support infrastructures of the US military stationed at Bahrain's "Sheikh Isa" base.
It is noteworthy that earlier, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that American forces conducted a series of new strikes toward Iran on Thursday night, targeting dozens of sites including military command centers, missile and drone facilities, coastal observation and defense positions, as well as maritime infrastructures.
US President Donald Trump announced on July 8 that the ceasefire agreed upon with Iran on the night of June 18 was no longer in effect. Following this, US armed forces have executed several rounds of strikes toward Iran.
