Their Situation Has Deteriorated: Rubio
According to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Iran has suffered significant losses and weakened as a result of military operations conducted by the United States.
Rubio stated that Iran's armed forces are now deprived of their navy, aviation, and factories, and that only half of their missile stockpile remains intact.
“All of that has been destroyed. Their situation has deteriorated, and they have significantly weakened,” he announced.
The Secretary also noted that the Iranian government is currently trying to buy time through negotiations. He described the Iranians as skilled and experienced negotiators, which requires increased vigilance from Washington.
“We cannot allow them to slip away,” the official emphasized.
Rubio added that any potential agreement must permanently and irreversibly prevent Iran from having the capability to transition to the creation of nuclear weapons at any time.
