Varazdat Lalayan Becomes European Champion for the Third Time
Varazdat Lalayan, a member of the Armenian national team, triumphed in the 110+ kg category at the European Weightlifting Championship held in Batumi. He became the European champion for the third time.
Lalayan completed the snatch with a result of 210 kg, earning a small gold medal. In the clean and jerk, he successfully lifted 241 kg overhead, also proving to be the best in this event.
With a total of 451 kg in the double lift, Varazdat Lalayan was crowned European champion for the third consecutive year.
