VIDEO: Police Detain Woman Who Threw Bottle at Bus Driver

Anahet Papatyan, the mother of Karapet Burnazyan who was killed during the 44-day war, was taken to the Erebuni police station from near her home. Police officers were waiting for her in front of her apartment.

The police's actions were prompted by a video that circulated on the internet today, showing the woman throwing a bottle at a trolleybus driver. Although the video gained significant attention today, the incident occurred back in February of last year.

At that time, there was a boycott against the increase in public transportation fares, in which the victim's mother also participated. Near the Friendship Metro station, the trolleybus driver heading towards Zeytun insulted her, after which she threw the bottle in his direction.
