Compensation for Families of Those Buried in Yerablur
The government decided on April 9 to provide compensation to 8 families of individuals who were killed during the aggressive actions of the adversary on September 19-20, 2023, and are buried in the Yerablur military pantheon.
The compensation will be given to families that have prepared and installed gravestone enhancements or headstones using their own resources and preferred methods.
According to preliminary calculations, the amount of compensation will be around 10 million drams. “The proposal to provide financial compensation is also based on the fact that if families had not improved the graves in any way, the state should have carried out the enhancement, and almost the same amount would have been spent,” the justification for the decision states.
The government also announced that previously planned but unused gravestones will be provided for the improvement of the graves of new fallen soldiers.
