The Ball is in the US Court: Araqchi
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has stated that the choice facing Washington is clear: either agree to a ceasefire or continue the conflict through Israel. According to him, these two options cannot coexist simultaneously.
Araqchi noted that the conditions for a ceasefire, according to Tehran, are clearly defined, and now the next move must come from the American side. He emphasized that the international community is watching to see if the US will fulfill its commitments.
The Iranian foreign minister also addressed the ongoing events in Lebanon, stating that the world is witnessing mass killings. His assessment was made in the context of criticism regarding US and Israeli actions. "The ball is in the US court, and the world is watching to see if they will carry out their obligations," Araqchi said.
