The Issue of Robert Kocharyan's Detention Will Be Reviewed at 20:30 - Judge's Name Revealed
The hearing regarding the application of a measure of restraint for the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, will begin today at 20:30. This was announced by his lawyer Aram Orbelyan during a conversation with reporters.
According to the lawyer, the examination of the motion has been assigned to Judge Sargis Dadoyan.
Robert Kocharyan has been charged with abuse of official authority, large-scale money laundering, and receiving large-scale bribes.
It is noteworthy that Kocharyan was arrested on August 25. His health deteriorated at the Anti-Corruption Committee, where he suffered from high blood pressure, after which he was transferred to a medical facility.
After necessary medical examinations, Robert Kocharyan has been presented to the Anti-Corruption Court, where the motion to apply detention as a measure of restraint will be reviewed.
