Iran Accuses UAE of Involvement in Attack
Iranian military sources have announced that the recent strike on an oil refinery located on Lavan Island involved the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force. According to reports from Tehran, Mirage-2000-9 fighter jets, part of the UAE's arsenal, participated in the operation.
The Iranian side is framing the incident as a targeted airstrike, emphasizing that the target was energy infrastructure. So far, no additional confirmed details regarding the attack have been reported from independent sources.
Meanwhile, the United States quickly responded to the situation, stating that the incident had no connection to American forces. According to available information, Washington has also informed Iran that Israel was not involved in the incident.
The circumstances of the case continue to be clarified, and no official assessments regarding the potential increase in regional tensions have been released yet.
