The Ball is in Iran's Court: Pence
The Vice President of the United States, Jay D. Pence, expressed confidence during a press conference following a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán that the US leadership would receive a response from Iran—positive or negative—before the deadline.
Pence also stated that intensive negotiations would take place in the meantime. According to him, Iran has faced military defeat and is now attempting to inflict economic damage on the world.
He asserted that the US President could cause much greater harm but chooses not to do so, hence the active negotiations. “The ball is in Iran’s court,” he remarked.
