Emigration Replaced by Immigration in 2025, Says Nikol Pashinyan
2025 will be the first year when the number of Armenian citizens returning to Armenia exceeds the number of those leaving the country by approximately 8,600. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a recent government session.
"Essentially, this means that, based on the results of 2025, emigration has been replaced by immigration. We are observing significant changes in tourism flows, as in 2025 the influx of foreign citizens has surpassed previous periods by 23,000. This was also evident during the New Year celebrations. We must regard the New Year festivities as a tourist product, since foreign tourists are increasingly interested in spending the New Year in Armenia," added the Prime Minister.
