Fog on Roads in the Sevan Region, Visibility Reduced to 50-70 Meters
As of February 12 at 19:35, all inter-state and republican roads in Armenia are open. Organizations responsible for road maintenance continue to carry out snow removal and salt-sand treatment work. This information is reported by the Road Department.
Due to adverse weather conditions, heavy snow, and poor visibility, roads are periodically closed for traffic safety reasons. The routes from the Jermuk intersection to Kapan and the Kajaran-Meghri roads are closed for vehicles with trailers.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for vehicles with trailers, while other vehicles face difficult conditions. Light snow is falling in the regions of Artik, Ashotsk, and Sevan. Blizzards are reported on the Alagyaz-Zaghkuyt and Tziklar-Rya Taza road segments.
Due to heavy blizzards and poor visibility, the Ttujur-Navur highway is closed for all types of vehicles. Fog is noted on the roads in the Sevan region, with visibility reduced to 50-70 meters.
