Will the Wind Speed Disrupt the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony?
In the next five days, mainly dry weather is expected across the republic. This was announced by the director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center on his Facebook page.
“Dear citizens, we are sure that many of you have heard the popular saying: 'This wind brings snow.' The Ministry of Environment's Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center states that this is not entirely true, and mainly dry weather is expected for the next five days across the republic. Regarding the wind, its speed will significantly decrease after 6:00 PM and will not interfere with the important event planned today in Republic Square—the ceremonial lighting of the main Christmas tree. We wish everyone a pleasant and festive evening,” the statement said.
