French national team forward Kylian Mbappé spoke about Portuguese team captain Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the Euro 2024 quarter-final match against Portugal.

“Ronaldo is a unique player. He has inspired an entire generation with his example. He has numerous achievements and titles behind him; it’s simply astounding. However, in the upcoming game, I hope he will be disappointed,” said Kylian, as reported by UEFA's press service.

It’s worth noting that the Euro 2024 quarter-final match between Portugal and France will take place today, July 5, at 23:00.
