Zelensky Requests Assistance from Finland: Discussion on Strengthening Ukraine's Air Defense

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that he discussed with Finnish President Alexander Stubb the issue of providing support to Ukraine with air defense systems. According to Zelensky, there is a limited quantity of missiles designed for air defense systems available worldwide, which are needed daily by Ukraine to protect against Russian strikes.

“If every partner country helps us now, it will save many lives,” he wrote.

Zelensky also noted that the parties discussed the diplomatic process and the steps that could compel Russia to seek peace. “Only sufficient support for Ukraine and pressure on Russia can bring peace,” the Ukrainian president stated.
