They Thought They Could Capture Iran in 48 Hours, Like Syria: President Pezeshkian
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that certain forces (implying U.S. forces) had planned to capture Iran within 48 hours, following the example of Syria. According to him, the goal of this plan was also to create instability within Iran, but it did not succeed.
"The situation was practically brought under control through force and decisive actions. Despite all the difficulties, today Iran is spoken of as a strong country that has dignity and respect," said Pezeshkian.
He also addressed the assassinations of Iran's leaders, commanders, and scientists, expressing his inability to understand the reasons behind them. "No matter how much I think, I cannot find any logical reason why they killed our leaders, our commanders, and our scientists. Many of them didn't even have a home of their own," stated the Iranian president.
