The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has stated that French President Emmanuel Macron's calls for increased pressure on Russia amount to personal participation in the 'terrorist activities' carried out by Ukraine.

According to Zakharova, Macron's statements indicate his support for actions that, according to the Russian side, are directed against the civilian population, including women and children.

Notably, a Ukrainian media outlet mockingly responded to Zakharova's claims, stating, 'Macron also personally launches drones from the Élysée Palace at night.'
