Warning: Fake Lottery Circulating in the Name of a Supermarket
The Cyber Police of the Republic of Armenia warns that a fake page has been created in the name of one of the supermarkets on social networks, offering citizens the chance to participate in a lottery, receive gifts, or benefit from special offers.
According to the department, the purpose of the fake page is to obtain citizens' personal and banking information and steal money from their accounts. The Cyber Police urges the public not to click on suspicious links, to avoid providing bank card details, passwords, and one-time verification codes, and to ensure that any page is official and authentic before taking any action.
