The Competition Protection Commission Initiates Proceedings Against ‘Jiji’ Company: Reason Revealed
The Competition Protection Commission has initiated proceedings against the closed joint-stock company ‘Jiji’ on May 21. The case relates to the practice of adding an extra charge to the fare value recorded through the ‘gg’ application upon the completion of the ride. Additionally, the company reportedly charged a specific amount at the end of the order but collected more than that, which is seen as misleading the public and raising suspicions of unfair competition.
This information has been provided by the Competition Protection Commission. The proceedings were initiated following a report from a citizen, as well as an email received by the Commission.
