Amendments and Changes to the Procedure for Mandatory Military Service Draft

The government has approved amendments and changes to decision N 1132-N regarding the "Procedure for Mandatory Military Service Draft".

According to the decision, it clarifies the obligations placed on citizens who have acquired Armenian citizenship after turning 27, and those who have completed military service in another country for less than 12 months or alternative service for less than 18 months prior to obtaining Armenian citizenship, as well as those who have not undergone such services and are under 37 years of age. It also specifies regulations for male citizens who have not completed mandatory military or alternative service in violation of legal requirements and are aged 27 (or 35) and under 37 (or 45) years.
