David Gyurjinyan Elected as Rector of Brusov State University

David Gyurjinyan has been appointed as the rector of V. Brusov State University. This information comes from the university's press service.

“We are pleased to announce that as a result of the elections for the rector of the 'V. Brusov State University' foundation, Academic Doctor, Associate Professor David Sevani Gyurjinyan was unanimously elected to the position of rector. We congratulate Mr. Gyurjinyan and wish him fruitful work,” said the statement.

He was elected unanimously to this position. It is worth noting that David Gyurjinyan, who was the president of the Language Committee at the time, was appointed as the acting rector of Brusov State University on March 15, 2023. Following this, a student strike and a labor strike began at the university; however, that same evening, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports visited the university with Gyurjinyan to introduce the newly appointed acting rector.
