Due to the infiltration of tropical warm air from Iraq, a 3-4 degree increase in daily temperatures is expected across the republic on August 23-24 compared to August 22. The highest temperature readings will be recorded on August 24, with mountain regions reaching +32 to +33°C during the day, pre-mountain areas seeing +36 to +37°C, and valley regions, particularly in Yerevan, the Ararat Valley, and Syunik valleys, hitting +38 to +40°C.

From August 22 to 27, a high fire risk situation is anticipated in Yerevan, the Ararat Valley, and the pre-mountain areas of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor. This information has been provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

In the capital, Yerevan, dry weather is predicted during the day on August 23 and from August 24 to 25. Showers and thunderstorms may occur in separate parts of the city on the evening of August 26-28. During thunderstorms and in the evening hours, an increase in wind intensity is expected, reaching 17-20 m/s.

Throughout the republic, there will be no precipitation expected on August 23 during the day and on August 24. Short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur in various regions on the evening of August 25-27, as well as on the night of August 28 and in the afternoon. Winds will be from the southeast and east at speeds of 4-7 m/s, with intensification expected during thunderstorms up to 17-20 m/s. Air temperatures will gradually rise by 3-5 degrees during the day on August 23 and 24.
